Grandmother of Eden Kinnett - Prelude Singer

Chellie serves as the Director of Operations for the Chorus, handling the day to day business operations.  Chellie joined our Chorus in September of 2025.

She comes to the Chorus with 30+ years experience in education, children’s programs, business and non-profit organization administration.  Chellie has served as the competition/events chair and board member for the Dallas Figure Skating Cub for the past 25+ years, was a PTO leader and President at the Dallas International School for 13 years, was a homeschool Mom for 11 years and owned her own secretarial business for 12 years.  She has worked with various church, school and community organizations in both volunteer and professional leadership and administration.

Chellie has 3 children, and 3 grandchildren.  She homeschooled her 1st daughter who is now a successful children’s and youth minister and the mother of her 3 grandchildren living in Melissa, TX.  She has 1 son who was a successful Plano ISD student becoming a professional Construction Manager, and her youngest daughter studied International Languages attending the Dallas International School and the Bejing Language and Culture University, who is currently in masters studies at Harvard.  While parenting her children and managing many youth oriented programs she was involved in all forms of education from homeschool groups to both public and private schools as well as skating clubs, church missions and many international student & parent groups. This broad experience helps her really meet all families in the organizations she serves with understanding and empathy.  She enjoys helping people and making an enjoyable efficient program.  Her grandaughter Eden Kinnett brought her to CCCC by joining the Prelude Chorus, starting a new chorus adventure for them both this season.

Chellie loves gardening, cats, travel, ice skating, children and music.  She sings soprano in 3 choirs in addition to managing our Children’s Chorus.
